The format for this year’s test has been confirmed to be the same as the last ETEA Entrance Test. It is a paper-based test that will be scheduled simultaneously across various cities across KPK at the same time. There aren’t any additional dates for the test It is held only once. Eligibility Criteria for ETEA Test
The following categories of applicants are eligible for application.
- Candidates who have passed intermediate (Pre-engineering/computer science or pre-medical) with additional math examination from a recognized board of intermediate and secondary education in Pakistan. An average of 60 percent of marks is required to be able to participate in an ETEA test. Students may take a mixture that includes Physics, Chemistry / Computer as well as Mathematics/Biology.
- Candidates who have successfully completed a 3-year post-matric diploma of associate engineer (DAE) (or B-Tech) examination and who have scored an unadjusted 60% or more scores.
- Students who are enrolled in Federal Board and A-Levels are also eligible for this test. If you are a resident of KPK, Azad Kashmir, and the Northern Area then you can apply for ETEA.

The test comprises 200 MCQs that are based on the syllabus of the FSc. Negative marking is also an option for the test. For each correct answer, you receive four marks. ETEA Computer Engineering Test Format 2024
Typically, ETEA starts the registrations for entrance tests during the month of June. Candidates have up to three weeks to complete their online registration. Entrance tests are conducted during the months between July and August. ETEA has not yet announced the Entry Test Schedule for ECAT in 2024. - All candidates are requested to carry the following items on the day of the test
- Admission Card (ID Number) issued by the respective ETEA Institutions or institutions.

The following are the prohibited practices that are enforced by ETEA when you are taking part in its exam:
- Mobile phones are not permitted at the testing facilities.
- If anyone keeps a mobile phone then its paper will be officially declared “canceled” immediately.
- Utilizing any electronic device such as calculators, smart watches, electronic calculators, and mathematical tables is not permitted in testing centers.
- Utilizing such mobiles could result in the cancellation of exam papers and the blacklisting of those candidates for future examinations administered by ETEA.
- Impersonation (attempting to create an identity that is fake) is a crime. The paper is declared “canceled” immediately for those persons who are found guilty of impersonation.
